You’ve heard the news: Fresh Towns is coming to Orillia. We’re exciting to be transforming and revitalizing the Orillia waterfront and bringing fresh waterside rooftop terrace townhomes to the shores of Lake Couchiching.
Fresh Towns is part of the City of Orillia’s exciting waterfront redevelopment project. As we mentioned in our blog post Orillia’s Fresh New Waterfront Redevelopment, this redevelopment includes the extension of Coldwater Street to Centennial Drive, extending the existing retail environment to the waterfront and improving the connection between the downtown and the waterfront. The beauty of Orillia's Lake Couchiching waterfront will be given more prominence and will present a welcoming face to visitors arriving at the Port of Orillia.
Redevelopment projects take time, though, as does designing a new community and beautiful new townhomes, and getting all of the necessary approvals.
Our anticipated spring opening date has therefore been delayed.
We’ve been busy finalizing the site plan for this exciting new community, as well as working on the townhome designs – from the architecture to the floor plans. We can’t wait to show you what we’re working on, but we want it to be absolutely perfect before we finalize it and share it with you.
The builder behind Fresh Towns is Sterling Homes, a company with decades of experience and an excellent reputation. Sterling Homes preserves a tradition of architectural and construction excellence in all of their new home communities.
You can expect for Fresh Towns to withhold this same commitment to excellence in design and construction. The new townhomes’ architecture will be bold and stunning, and will celebrate and complement the City of Orillia’s beautiful waterfront and extraordinary natural setting.
Stay tuned for updates and for our opening date to be confirmed. We anticipate to hold a brokers’ event this summer and to open to the public in the fall.
